MELALEUCA viridiflora

Melaleuca viridiflora is a versatile small tree or tall shrub with dark green leaves, creamy-red or pink bottlebrush flowers and creamy-grey papery bark. Occasionally the flowers of this variety can bloom in shades of pink and red. An abundance of blooms are displayed during the summer months. Prefers an open position in full sun and can tolerade a range of different soil types. Tolerates a wide range of conditions including swampy waterlogged areas. Prune after flowering to maintain a compact habit and healthy new growth.
