The White Orchid Tree (Bauhinia variegata var. candida) is the elegant white-flowering form of the classic Orchid Tree — a fast-growing, semi-evergreen tree from the Indian subcontinent that produces masses of large, softly fragrant, creamy-white orchid-like flowers in spring, with further flushes through summer.
