Radermachera Summerscent
 
Radermachera Summerscent, originating from southern China, is a highly versatile plant known for its lush, glossy, compact foliage. It produces clusters of fragrant white to pale pink flowers that bloom abundantly throughout the warmer months, adding a tropical feel to the garden. Summerscent is ideal for hedging or screens, as it responds well to pruning.
It thrives in both full sun and shade, and can also be grown indoors if placed in a well-lit position. Water well until established, after which it becomes drought, sun, and cold tolerant, although it may be frost tender when young. Fertilize in spring and late summer with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Radermachera Summerscent can grow up to 3 metres in height and 2-3 metres in width.
