Corymbia maculata

The spotted gum, found commonly through out south-eastern Australia. This tall, straight - trunked tree has an open canopy. Its thick mottled grey-green bark sheds in patches to reveal a patchwork of grey, green, pink and ochre colours. The adult leaves are narrow and pointed, and white flowers occur winter, followed by urn shaped seed pods.
