Pyrus nivalis

Native to southern Europe, this small tree has thornless ascending branches and white flowers. More popular for it's white down covered leaves, growing from spring. The small egg-shaped leaves are smooth edged, and fruits, round with a yellowish green colour. Used for foliage contrast in small gardens.
